Sarah Leah Chase, who owned specialty food shop Que Sera Sarah and did catering on Nantucket, has several wonderful cookbooks, two of which are  mainstays of my large collection: The Nantucket Open House Cookbook and Cold-Weather Cooking. While the cookbooks are more than 20 years old, you’d never know it flipping through the pages. Nothing jumps out as dated. I can’t wait to get my hands on her newest, New England Open-House Cookbook. Read more
